Vergina Premium Lager
Vergina (pronounced: ver-jean-ahh) is a Premium Lager that is brewed in Greece by the famed Macedonian Thrace Brewery. The Lager derives its name from the historic Greek town of Vergina which was the ancient Kingdom of a long line of famous Greek Kings including Phillip II, father to Alexander the Great and where archeological evidence pre-dates the first production of beer in Greece. For this reason, Vergina is refered to as the King of Greek Beers.
Vergina Beer is classified as a Premium Lager. Its ingredients are pilsen malt, caramel malt, hop, aromatic tettnanger hop, yeast and water. All of the ingredients are harvested in Greece. Vergina is a product of classic fermentation (10C) and distinguished by its fresh, rich taste and aromatic ballance of malt and hop.
Vergina promises the International flavor of an Import Beer and all that it stands for. Brewed from premium hops and select barley malt in a tradition that delivers a fresh, rich taste, a balanced aroma of malt & hop, and a refreshing smooth finish.
